All Essential products are palm oil-free. We are aware of the implications that the palm oil industry has for ecosystems and therefore on our planet. To address this, in 2019 we removed all traces of palm oil from our Essential brand products.

We wholesale and distribute a large range of other brands and consequently, we do still stock and sell a small number of products containing palm oil.

To the best of our knowledge, where palm oil is present in products we trade, it is sustainably sourced under the RSPO certification. In addition, for each of the products containing palm oil, we endeavour to offer equivalent palm oil-free alternatives.

As part of our purchasing strategy, we are committed to avoiding palm oil as much as possible. Where this is not feasible, we do our best to only source products using RSPO-certified palm oil.
