When I first joined Marigold Health Foods, I knew I was stepping into something special. Having spent a significant portion of my career with Whole Foods Market and Planet Organic, I was no stranger to brands with a strong ethos, but Marigold’s legacy and commitment to quality stood out. The company’s story is as rich as the products we create, beginning in 1980 when Patrick Tobin, launched a Swiss vegetable bouillon powder into the UK market. His passion for wholesome, natural foods has been the bedrock of the brand to this day. It was more than just a business venture; it was the start of a food revolution that would prioritise taste, health, and sustainability long before these values became mainstream.
 

At Marigold, we believe in the power of food to nourish the body and soul, and this belief guides everything we do. Our products are crafted by a team of healthy eating and cooking enthusiasts who share a love for food and a commitment to helping people make delicious meals—naturally. For over four decades, we've been dedicated to creating products that not only taste good but are also good for you and the planet.

We have a simple rule: if it doesn’t taste good, it doesn’t get our stamp of approval. From our plant-based instant gravy powder, and our vegetable bouillon, to our much-loved Engevita nutritional yeast (or nooch), deliciousness is at the forefront of our product development. We understand that healthy eating shouldn’t come at the cost of taste, and our customers have come to trust that Marigold products will deliver on both fronts. I’m particularly fond of our organic bouillon—a product that embodies a rich, savoury taste. It’s also the key ingredient in one of my favourite quick snacks: kale crisps baked with a sprinkling of bouillon and a drizzle of olive oil … delicious!

Not only do we care about making delicious, nourishing food, we’re also driven to reduce the environmental impact of doing so.  As well as getting rid of palm oil, Marigold has converted our tub packaging to make them fully recyclable. The future of Marigold is bright, and I am excited to continue our journey, creating foods that uphold our values of taste, health, convenience, and environmental responsibility.
